Please plan to attend our Camp and Cook. This program benefits the Scouts and the Church, and will be a lot of fun to boot!
The program starts Saturday at 2:00 PM with activities all day and into the evening, then we camp out overnight, make breakfast for the congregation in the morning, attend services at 9:30, then pack up and out at around 11:00 AM.
Please plan to join your son if you can, for all or portions of the program. It is proven that the Scouts excel when their parents get involved, and parents get a lot of joy and satisfaction out of seeing their kids excel!!
We have had a good response from our request for adult volunteers. Thank you. There is still some need, so I will send out an updated list of volunteer needs this evening.
Scouts, please plan to bring a tent and sleeping gear for overnight camping. If the scouts can find tent mates prior to event, that will reduce the number of scouts bringing tents.
We are not yet sure if there will be a charge for this event (for the pizza dinner and breakfast), but if there is, it will be nominal...no more than $5.
