Zenoble Farm
Camping, Scouting, Shooting, Fishing and Much More!
This Friday, February 24 to Sunday, February 26
We will be learning shooting rules and skills, fishing, and working on some basic scouting skills for rank advancement and merit badges, and we encourage our adults to come and be a part of the fun. It is going to be a big crew, with 36 participants expected, and a lot going on, and we would be glad to have the adults join us at any of the scouting skills stations.
The boys need to bring $25.00 cash for the Ammo and Travel costs and an additional $10.00 cash for their food. The adults need to bring $15 cash for the ammo if they are shooting, $10 for the travel costs and as much as $15 for the cost of food, which will determined later and payable during the trip.
We will gather at the Church at 6:45 Friday Evening for loading and will depart by 7:15!
· Pack for cold weather! It will be in the 30s at night! (extra layers)
· Eat dinner before you come because there are no plans to stop along the way. The Zenoble’s Farm is near Macon, a two hour trip. Maps & directions will be prepared and delivered at the church for all driving adults that request one.
· Bring your fishing poles if you have 'em!
· Don't forget to bring permission slips!
· Bring Annual Health and Medical Record if we do not already have it on file!· Don't forget to bring permission slips! (do I need to say it again?)
We will NOT have the Church Van, so we will need as much parental vehicle capacity as possible. We will bring the Troop Trailer loaded with firewood, Troop Gear and as much personal gear as we can get in it! Additional drivers will be selected on Friday based on the need.
The return time depends on the weather and other factors. We will likely shoot for 1:00, after Church is out. Expect a call from your son around 12:00 with an estimated arrival time.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Here's to a great trip!
Lee
