Tonight's Meeting/(Adults)Cast Your Ballot for 2012's Good Egg

Happy New Year!!
Tonight we return to our regular Monday meeting schedule.   We may have Webelos visiting tonight.  There is also a sign-up sheet for the next camping trip to Fort Mountain/January 18-20.
Adults, please stop in between 7:30-8:00PM to cast your ballot for the Troop's Good Egg for 2012.  We have 8 nominated candidates, so there could be a run-off.
We are proud to announce that in 2012, Troop 435 has achieved the necessary requirements to earn the Foothills District Honor Roll (Chicken Pins).
In addition, we are also recognized as a Gold Level (the highest) in Scouting's Journey to Excellence.  This is based on 13 objectives set by BSA National to evaluate troop performance.
Thank you to all adults and scouts that contribute to the success of Troop 435.

3. Bring $15 for transportation and additional $ for a late lunch on the way back home on Sunday. (we should be back at the Church 4 pm on Sunday)

7. Dress appropriately for the hike and bring layers (and non-cotton if possible) for the changing temperature ... gloves, hats, scarfs woolen socks etc.  Non-cotton, i.e. wool, polyester, does not retain as much moisture from perspiration, and therefore will can help keep you warmer during and after a hike.

  • Sat Jan 5: 54°/ 37° Mostly Cloudy,   Chance of rain: 0%, Wind: W at 4 mph
  • Sun Jan 6:  54° / 30°, Partly Cloudy, Chance of rain:10%, Wind: WNW at 6 mph
