May 28 Game Night. Bring $3 for pizza and drinks and a game to share. Scouts can wear Class B (troop t-shirt and scout shorts) for the summer meetings starting tonight.

June 2-3 Backpacking at Blood Mountain. This is an aggressive hike. Younger scouts: Please check with SM Khan to be sure that you have enough experience to handle this trip.
Meet at Church at 7:30 AM. Bring permission slip and $10 for gas. All Scouts should have a Tent Buddy. Scouts must follow food packing/carrying directions outlined during the meeting this past Monday (May 21). Please also plan to carry at least two Liters of water. We expect to return on Sunday around 3-4 PM.
June 8-10 Allatoona Trip: Meet at Church at 7:00 PM. Bring Permission slip and $5 for gas. Food will be by Patrols so please work with your Patrols for Food Planning.
June 16 9:00 AM Adopt a Mile. We'll meet in the parking lot of Chase Bank (across from the YMCA) to clean up our mile of E. Piedmont. This typically takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours and earns community service hours. We would like to see more scouts and adults attend and help this community commitment of Troop 435. Please plan to help.

Whitewater Rafting-we are in the early stages of planning our rafting trip. We are looking at a day-trip in late July or early August. This trip is also the calendar planning trip for the scouts.
Court of Honor: August 6. Save the date.
Medical Forms: We are reviewing our medical forms. Unless you have turned in a medical form in the last month or two, your scout's medical form is most likely expired (valid for 12 months). If your scout is attending Summer Camp (or any other event over 72 hours), you must complete Part A, B, & C (which requires a doctor's signature/stamp). We must also have a copy of both sides of your medical insurance card. If your scout is not planning on attending Summer Camp, please complete Part A & B, which does not require a doctor's signature, and also attach your insurance card photocopy.
Camp Card Escrow Accounts: Please stop in during the Monday meetings to confirm your escrow amount earned from Camp Cards. If you have earned $50 or less and would like to liquidate your escrow account, please contact Fran Bailey.
